Other Singapore Grand Prix packages

Book with confidence, plan with ease.

We have answered the questions we get asked most, so you can book with confidence and plan your experience with ease.

When is the Singapore Grand Prix?

It usually falls in September or early October, with the race on the Sunday evening and track action across the Friday and Saturday. Formula 1 confirms the calendar each year.

Where is the circuit?

The Marina Bay Street Circuit, run on closed public roads around the Marina Bay district. The cars pass the Singapore Flyer, the Esplanade and the waterfront, with the city skyline behind them the whole way.

Why is it run at night?

Singapore was Formula 1's first night race, introduced in 2008, and it is floodlit so the race can start at an hour that suits European television. It also takes the worst of the day's heat out of the cockpit, though the humidity does not go anywhere.

What else is on besides the racing?

Singapore is as much a festival as a race weekend. There are concerts across the site on all three evenings, and the zones your ticket covers determine which stages you can reach. That is worth checking before you choose a package.

What is the weather like?

Hot and very humid, around thirty degrees, with a real chance of a tropical downpour at some point in the weekend. Light clothing, and something you can throw on when the rain arrives.

What they say

For many years I had looked forward to visiting the Masters Tournament. The SGH trip was created for our group of 4 golfers and everything was effortless from start to finish. The accommodation, host house and recommended golf courses were all first class. Despite having high expectations, it is fair to say these were exceeded.
